Just installed WordPy on my phone. Awesome program to edit and create content for my website. Only complaint is the poor placement of the angle brackets.

Three Philosophers
Brewery Ommegang
9.80% ABV
Quadrupel

I have never had bourbon, but I am told it tastes like this. Overall not too offensive in my opinion but not really good. Correction, I’m sure it is good, just not my style of beer. My pallet was probably shot by then, it didn’t really do much for me, I didn’t like the aftertaste, and It didn’t hide the alcohol very well. I’ll have to try some more quads, see if I can learn to appreciate them. Until that time, I won’t be getting this again.

Trappist Tripel
Brouwerij Westmalle
9.5% ABV
Tripel

Ok quick history on this beer because its interesting. Westmalle is a Trappist Abby that began brewing beers in 1836. It is one of only 7 legitimate Trappist Breweries. All the beer is brewed by the Trappist monks in said Abby. Aside from the awesome origin of the beer, it also tastes amazing. Golden Monkey was a tripel, and I loved it, the slightly fruity spiced style. This is just more refined and tuned and perfect in so many ways. I absolutely love this beer.

Duvel
Brouwerij Duvel
8.6% ABV
Belgian Strong Pale Ale

This beer is preposterously good. I don’t know how to describe the taste, other than; one of the most delicious substances ever to cross my pallet. Its beautiful to look at, its incredibly easy to drink, the aroma is out of this world. Seriously try this.

Sah’Tea
Dogfish Head Craft Brewery
9% ABV
Sahti

Part of the good beer good food finale lineup. This was absolutely delicious. Smell was amazing, like chai tea and banana bread and pumpkin pie. Taste was also amazing, chai tea pumpkin bread and banana bread. Very little beer flavor, almost no bitterness. I’m going to grab a bottle of this for thanksgiving dinner. I think it will be even better with food and in smaller ammounts. Drinking it by itself and in a pint glass, it got a little to sickly sweet for my taste as it warmed. Also a dangerous beer as there is zero taste of the high alcohol and its so easy to drink.

Opa Opa Light
Opa-Opa Brewery
?% ABV
Light Lager

My first light beer. While Wacko was a little watery, this shit is weak. Very little actual beer taste. It had an annoying flash of sourness that turned into an unpleasant very very light bitterness. Even the aftertaste where I was expecting to get a little bit of bread/yeast notes was a total failure. I cannot even begin to understand why people drink light beer. No reason seems valid enough to drink beery water. Seriously the rinse water from a bottle of Storm King has more body and color than this crap.
